Above market compensation and benefits. Company full of good, hardworking people.

Most reviews on Hawaiian Telcom are pretty accurate. The 4-5 star ones are most likely workers tied to employee satisfaction, marketing/investor relations or have a rare/protected position. If you don't mind having a terrible work life balance, you will do well here. You will be a slave to your cell, VPN connection and will be sure to miss a lot of family time, gain weight and develop mental and physical health issues. There is a lot of backstabbing and few compliments. Your workload will be more about process than completing of actual tasks if you work at the management level. It is sad to see the amount of waste and loss of productivity. It is not a healthy work environment, but it does pay well for the Island. Most people are miserable but feel stuck, so they stay.

Passive Aggressive. Cliques. Does not like mainlanders. Work-life balance really, really bad.
