I honestly don’t know what more I can say. I really did love my boss. He was a great guy and he taught me everything I know today. I wouldn’t be half the marketer or even half the man I am today without him in my life. Working for Hawke Media was one of the best things that ever happened to me because I got to work under him. I would have happily stayed on for the rest of my career, but I got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I had to take it.
Cons
I didn’t experience anything remotely negative the entire time I worked there. I’m sure everyone has different experiences, but mine was incredibly positive.

It is sales so people will be hired and fired on a whim. Also it's an LA based company therefore there is a lack of honest and ethical behavior.

It was a solid four years. I learned a lot and gained more experience in PR than I imagine I would have gotten anywhere else. It felt like a decade’s worth of experience in just four short years.
Cons
Not such a great environment if you’re not much of a self-starter. You really need to be on top of your own work to do well here.

This is the 3rd PR & ad agency I’ve worked for and let me tell you from experience…. Hawke is MUCH better than most. Go ahead and complain if you want, but I know a good thing when I see it.

Compared to the other two, this place is paradise.
