I worked at Hawthorn Theatrical full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hourly Pay,big client base, big shows, lots of kit, good techs, good PMs, straight and honest owner and its not owned by a massive corporation.

    Cons

Their Process is outdated, stock management system is useless, quoting system is useless, staff equipment can be mediocre, MD is completely oblivious to to the issues they have, no sick pay, no Healthcare, 500 b Mb of email storage, no proper Graphics dept, etc, etc.

    Advice to Management

Don't hide behind your huge revenue. there are more holes in your process than in my granny old knickers. get someone in (WITH INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE) to speak to every single person along your delivery chain and figure out how to INVEST and STREAMLINE it so that YOUR people are cutting their wrists after 6 months.

    Good Luck and God speed.
