    Pros

Nothing really. Thankless job. Early mornings to late afternoon. Nothing but negatives.

    Cons

Manager was a horrid person, Complete and utter bully. Place is cliquey. Work with some nasty sales people too. No support from upper managment when raising issues. Newcastle branch was an awful place to work.

    Advice to Management

    Complete change in culture needed.

I have been working at Hays full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The opportunity to work in an inclusive meritocracy, where your opinion is valued and you can take ownership of your remit. I work with a great team who are supportive and likeminded and have the opportunity to build a strong local business network, with the full support of my peers and managers.

It is hard work and long hours - but so worthwhile when you get someone their ideal role...

I worked at Hays (More than a year)

    Pros

Training provided and city centre location

    Cons

Really negative atmosphere in the Newcastle office. Dreaded going to work everyday. Long hours with poor commission structure / bonuses. A lot of office politics and gossip. Very high turnover of staff results in poor relationships with clients in the North East. No career prospects. Sometimes work you are asked to do is unethical and is not in the best interests of candidates.
