    Pros

Still really enjoying my job after 12 years of working for Hays. I've had a number of roles as I've progressed my career and I am still learning new skills weekly. I have a good relationship with my line manager and that is really important to me.

    Cons

Work life balance is very hard to maintain in a sales roles - although, predominantly because of the pressure I put on myself.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in management from the earliest opportunity. Future leaders are crucial.

I have been working at Hays plc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is great career progression. The company celebrates success well, senior management take the time to get to know you and congratulate you on small achievements. Good training at the start and a good team around you. People are very willing to help you.

    Cons

You'll work long hours and there is very little flexibility over them. However, this is to be expected in this industry. The commission structure is a little tight.
    Pension contributions are very low.

I worked at Hays plc full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Well known company with a supposed good reputation and some good training available. About it really just don't hold your breath.

    Cons

The MDs treat staff as easily disposable, when it comes to promotion time they will pull you to one side and suggest you leave the company otherwise they will sack you. Targets are unrealistic, and they expect you to work longer hours than the 45-50 hour weeks you already work. A real chauvinistic/bullying atmosphere within the office as well. If you are "successful" they are prepared to overlook everything else.

    Advice to Management

Stop employing people at a lower salary and promising to promote them, when in reality you just want cheap labour.
