I have been working at Hays plc full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

We have clear targets for promotion and will always encourage and support people to achieve their best. The teams are rewarded both by personal commission but also team incentives which means that there is a high perfomance culture within the offices that I have worked in. Hays has a clear set of values and has clear communication from board level about the direction of the business and the plan for the future.

    Cons

Sometimes work/life balance can be a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your staff, sometimes the best ideas come from those at ground level.

I have been working at Hays plc full-time

    Pros

Working at Hays provides a great opportunity to make money and friends. The team is very supportive and creates a real feeling of collaboration. The team works very hard but we do defiantly play hard as well. You can really impact what you earn on a day to day basis.

    Cons

Long hours are a must in order to get the work done and the pressure that is put on people will either make you sink or swim. It is sometimes a very challenging environment and requires a great deal of resilience.

    Advice to Management

All good things. It is a hard environment for people to come into and work so ensure that good work is rewarded.

    Pros

    Parties, Colleagues, Clients, Nothing, Nothing

    Cons

Director, Atmosphere, Stressful, No life, Location

    Advice to Management

All of your staff are miserable and looking for positions elsewhere. Oxford and Abingdon are possibly the most life draining offices I have ever set foot in. I was totally screwed over whilst I worked there and for the life of me I don't know why I never took my complaints further. HR were a disgrace in helping resolve my issues.
