    I worked at Hazen Research full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Management—all the way to the top—really seem to care about employees' growth and encourage them to pursue further education
    Decent benefits: profit sharing, health insurance, matching 401K, etc.
    Good way to get started in the workforce

    Cons

    Low pay, and I was one of the higher paid people in my position
    Feast or famine hours. Expect to go from 14 hour days to 32 hour weeks at the clients' whim

    Pros

    I knew all that work that was required, and additional knowledge of what was not asked for.

    Cons

    Was hired to one specific process support, but didn't recognize the capabilities and history of what I have done. SX/IX/EW/roasting/tailings treatment.

    Advice to Management

    I am willing to do most things I have done in my past and are willing to learn new skills.

    Some long hours but paid overtime
