    Pros

A great environment to work for where management treat everyone like family.

    Cons

None that I can think of writing

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on the tradition of family at Health Net. Employees will always go the extra mile for such a good environment.

I worked at Health Net full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

My department was very diverse and had a lot of females in leadership roles. If you're on the right team under the right manager, there is opportunity for growth if you work for it.

    Cons

Projects, particularly IT projects, are handled poorly. When I left, they were really pushing towards agile methodology but didn't have a firm understanding of how to effectively apply it. This resulted in projects getting implemented despite major defects and the contingency plan was almost always manual work.

I have been working at Health Net full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good managers and training

    Cons

working for this company I have observed that the recognition for long time workings is not valued or appreciated, like I i said good training so learn as much as you can and take that knowledge to better yourself and that new company. Pay is not great. It is the LOWEST PAID Healthcare PLAN in Rancho Cordova/Sacramento. Get the knowledge and apply at a better company . No real intensives to stay with the company .. its a shame in working for 10years and your just making 40,000.00 per year... thats is unheard of .

    Advice to Management

Recognized good employees and give them the necessary honor that is due them or you will loose them. l

Best team ever! The best part of Health Net is the people.

    Cons

I have been working at Health Net full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great management team, most people care about the work they are doing, GREAT hours. Company holidays are great, very active in trying to keep the morale up for employees.

    Cons

As with most employers there are always a few people that move up before they're ready, not everyone hired is cut out for the work so they get bounced from team to team to try to save their jobs.

    Advice to Management

I don't really have anything that I feel needs to be addressed.

    Cons

People especially managenent will retaliate-so watch your back!! Company culture is horrible
