I worked at Health Professionals full-time (More than 3 years)
Management was and still is very client focused. This instilled a great deal of trust and became a benchmark for ad hoc work with an agency for me. I felt able to provide optimal care knowing if there was a problem or issue I would be heard and there would be support if it was needed. Were it not for health reasons I would work for this company again in a heart beat. I always felt that although HP was a business and needed to be financially viable, the clients came first. Had my late mother needed home help, I would have wanted her to be managed by the HP Homecare Team
I don't have many cons only drawbacks. I needed to work night shifts and a few times there were very few of these shifts available. The office was in a remote area, but again not much of a con either.
Advice to Management
Keep listening and carefully vetting your various teams and HP will remain the wonderful agency that it is. If a trustworthy, client caring and supportive "head" is always at the helm, these positive qualities will always travel "downstream" to HP staff, but most importantly, to the clients and their loved ones.Because the management team went above and beyond, I felt that it was safe to do so as well.
