I worked at Health Services Advisory Group full-time

    Pros

    - Compensation and benefits are at fair market value
    - Company invests in it's people via trainings and certifications.
    - People who work in the office are friendly.
    - The issues and contracts the company works on are interesting.

    Cons

    - No formal reviews of your performance so it is difficult to know how you are doing. On the other hand, people are fired frequently but there isn't a lot of transparency as to why they were fired or whether they saw it coming. Seems like it would be better to simply be straightforward about where people are excelling or under performing.
    - Company is very hierarchical in a way that I feel stifles innovation and doesn't necessarily bring out the best in people.

I have been working at Health Services Advisory Group full-time

    Pros

Work-from-home is great and the salary and benefits are amazing.

    Cons

Zero feedback from management until there's a problem, and even then, total lack of constructive feedback of issues until it's too late.

    Advice to Management

Provide direction to those new to HSAG. Help new employees understand what expectations are and how to achieve them. Provide guidance - don't wait until it's too late.
