    Pros

Company culture is very, very good. Leadership team understand importance of culture and impact it has to the bottom line. Company vision is clear and central to daily work. Individual and team goals have logical connectivity to company vision. CEO and senior leadership team aren't just competent and seasoned, they are also approachable, genuine and happily engage with the rank and file. Compensation is competitive - bonus plan is generous. Work/life balance is decent. Could be better, but it's very refreshing it is concern for leadership team. People Team couldn't be better - true focus on welfare and success of team members. Physical facilities are quite a bit above average. Lots of opportunity to grow and excel if you are willing to put in the work. Company is winning/flush with cash - everyone likes being on a winning team.

    Cons

It's a short list - HQY is uniquely awesome. Work/life balance could be better. Company is quite generous with PTO given. It can just be difficult at times to get away. Annual PTO rollover is prohibitive.

    Advice to Management

Thank you. Seriously. You are winning and we appreciate it. It's a whole lot of fun to work hard toward a common goal and see it come to fruition. Also really appreciate the transparency and willingness to engage. Keep doing what you're doing.

I worked at HealthEquity Inc. full-time

    Pros

At the time, the "Purple Attitude" made a lot of sense. The company was innovative and very involved in their employee's health. The pay was decent, and there was a lot of promise.

    Cons

Day one, I was bullied directly by a "co-worker", and that happened right in front of my supervisor. He didn't even react. Obviously, I could take to the manager. I repeatedly brought up my issues to management, and the answer was that the manager didn't want to be a "drama manager". And yet, the moment of the clique said a single word about me, I was in the office being questioned like the prime suspect on an NCIS show. Despite their unprofessional behavior ( Profane, disruptive during meetings, insulting and borderline harassment) It didn't matter that I was right. It didn't matter that my "team" would do things that were highly unethical. I wasn't part of the clique. So I was quite frankly discriminated against (For many reasons, we won't deal with them here). Worse, I went to HR to ask for assistance and I remember the HR person clearly tell me that this may not be the job for me. There are other jobs I could be looking for if I am not happy. Beautiful. Great advice. I had three offers, I took this one on a recommendation. I guess I should have gone with my first choice. A lot of reviews here say "Forget about getting sick, you are on a warning the moment you call in, or you leave early" My addition is "Unless you have an 'in' with management or your supervisor". If you have a medical condition, you have to kiss a lot of hiney here. If you have principles, you're not going to strive there, move along. You don't "Fit the Profile". I know I didn't, for more than one reason, none of which I had a choice on.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to yourselves. Stop lying to your employees, prospective or actual. Take a good look at your workforce, you will be able to see that you need to clean out quite a few desks. Stop hiding from your employees' discriminatory behavior. Stop explaining away the nepotism. You may have won one of those awards for "best companies to work for in Utah". But you are growing. Soon, the voice of dissent will grow within you too and if you don't stop to face it, well I guess we will see you in a couple of years.

    Pros

I have been with HealthEquity just over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The company has been built on an incredibly firm foundation of engaged, passionate, PURPLE employees which makes for an awesome culture!

    Cons

As with any fast growing technology driven company, software and technical issues can be quite a painful at times.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at HealthEquity Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company truly cares about employees needs. I've worked at my fair share of companies in the tech arena. HealthEquity, even though tech isn't their primary focus, has been the best place hands down that I've ever word for. My direct manager is very engaged with my concerns and is constantly giving me feedback on how I can improve.

Recently the company, I can only speak for engineering, a career path that gives you specific goals to advance your career. Managers work with their people to help them advance to where ever they want to go. Each month there is a selection of different lunch and learns where they bring in food and ofter all sort of different topics. Most of the class are taught by the more senior team members in their respected fields.

    Cons

As with any company they are not without their faults. There are some very lofty goals that can put pressure to perform. They are also not the most competitive in the market when it comes to salary but when looking at the total package and work life balance they lead the market.

    Pros

    good benefits
    nice office
    fast pace
    receptionist is nice

    Cons

    No Guidance
    No warnings
No opportunities if you don't fit in with the crowed in management
Lots of gossiping and putting down other TL
No recolonization for the good work put in
Lot of racial comments within the company
    Management is Favorited
Mbr services is bottom of the barrel

    Advice to Management

Management should learn how to guide and teach those who need the help instead favors individuals. The company is big about family an making the employees happy but yet favors management. The company is prominently white and experienced racial convocations in the office. Defiantly something to think about if your someone of color. I would not advise anyone to this company because of discrimination I as a previous employee has experience.
