I worked at HealthNet Federal Credit Union full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can move up on this company very fast.

    Cons

Gov contract - so you can be laid off at any time as I was.

    Advice to Management

Trying focusing on more of the positive and less of the negative.

I worked at HealthNet Federal Credit Union full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    pay n benifits were good

    Cons

Some management do not know how to manage and it depends who you are as to how you learn new assignments. There is no control over other employees, they are able to bully others and pretty much do as they please. While others carry the work load.

    Advice to Management

Need to have a better management staff that know how to train and how to manage.

there pay is 14 dollars an hour and have opportunity to build pto throughout the year

    Cons

micromanage people always remind you that they don't really need you very strict on restroom breaks 8 mins a day or you could get fired if you go over that more than 3 times

I have been working at HealthNet Federal Credit Union (Less than a year)

    Pros

At first glance the training feels weak, but you soon realize that your mind is waking to new experiences. Working to get Veterans the care they deserve is rewarding.

    Cons

Unfortunately, I live 1 hour and 10 minutes away from this job site. The milage and gas it takes to get there for a 35 hour week has me living paycheck to paycheck. Plus no free parking. In total I'm looking at $230 a month just to get there. Makes me sad to think about having to leave for a bigger company closer to me where I'll make more money. However, I know if it were to suit management, my dismissal wouldn't hurt their feelings. Hard to decide what's best when you can't see the future.

    Advice to Management

I haven't had an opportunity to get to know the management. Perhaps that makes decisions to cut people easier.

    Pros

Pay, benefits, clean environment, hours of operation, helpful coworkers.

    Cons

No work/life balance. Strict absence policy. When you put in for vacation, it often gets denied (some exceptions for doctors appointments)

    Pros

Hours are first shift and pay competitive for the area. Training is good and long. Room to advance.

    Cons

Not the same job day to day. Many system crashes and issues. Micromanage. Not a family work environment. Disrespectful supervisors put you in personal situations to not report them.

    Advice to Management

Look into investigations you have going on.
