I have been working at HealthPRO Heritage full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good Training for PDPM. The company excels at making videos stating how much Therapists are valued.

    Cons

The company has 2 goals. Keep contracts and make money. The practice of Therapy, Therapists and the Patients are treated as a necessary evil. Buildings are overstaffed to make sure the Therapists stay hungry. There is no recourse through HR if a problem occurs. People who speak up are viewed as the problem. This despite the well produced policies.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. Saying you value someone is not enough. Train your Directors. A clique is not the same as a team. Gossip is not appropriate. dpolicies.discussing personnel matters with other employees is inappropriate. When employees raise concerns, don't become defensive.

I have been working at HealthPRO Heritage full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

started off fairly ethical for SNF setting. 85% productivity for therapists (better than some other companies) 88% for assistants

    Cons

No raises. Poor management at multiple levels (high turnover, disorganized, disconnected to clinicians). Difficult to avoid working off the clock or through lunch in order to meet expectations (even as a fast worker/quick learner). Meetings and trainings are often added to your day without decrease in patient care time. Being a contract company, they place a higher priority on profit for the agency rather than... patient care.

  10. "It will only get worse unless something is done"

    StarStarStarStarStar
    Former Employee - Therapist

I worked at HealthPRO Heritage full-time

    Pros

Working with other therapists and staff. The patients.

    Cons

Too many demands. Too high productivity. It's a business first and only care about the bottom line. Patients will suffer because of it.

    Advice to Management

You have the power to set your own standards and productivity levels. Don't let therapists and patients suffer.
