    Pros

-You will work with other equally passionate people
    - You will gain so much knowledge just by way of interacting with the clients and the different moving parts of this organization
    - You will most definitely grow, even if it is by way of “sink or swim”.
    - You will get to see first hand the impact of the work you are doing with different client populations

    Cons

    - Management is often not present
    - Severe lack of any sort of structure for on-boarding employees
    - High turnover due to burnout
    - Basic tools/organizational structure needed to succeed not provided
    - Lack of framework is unsustainable and quickly leads to burnout

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees
    Be open to receiving feedback
Follow up on things you say you’ll do
    Better on boarding

    Pros

Workers are committed to the mission. Benefits are decent. Pay isn’t unusually low for the field.

    Cons

I came from an organization that was eaten up by HealthRight. Their complete lack of respect for us was apparent before the ink had dried—they made promises to staff and clients that they couldn’t keep, they never listened to anything we said long enough to even know what services we provided, and they never showed up to a single meeting on time.

    Pros

great coworkers who really want to HELP the clients, is supposed to be trauma informed

    Cons

managment has zero leadership skills, severe understaffing just getting worse the longer I work here, almost all staff is completely burntout yet mgt just keeps pushing harder and punishing for trivial details or for asking for help

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees...they are ALL looking for other jobs because of the lack of support and punitive, authoritarian mgt style. Our facility is ready to implode ...get your heads out of the sand and listen to staff feedback
