I have been working at HealthRIGHT 360 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

With a focus on helping individuals to become the best possible, through the use of evidence based practices. Once a client, I am now a grateful employee for the opportunity to give back.

    Cons

At times , when busy, team support can be challenging.

    Advice to Management

Provide more than once a year team building/bonding activities.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at HealthRIGHT 360 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked with senior management for more than 4 years and I truly believe that they care about the clients they serve. I have never met a more dedicated or intelligent group of leaders. The IT department, in particular, is working to build a strong team and doing so by fostering trust and communication among senior leaders to model for everyone in the department. They continue these practices in the face of mergers and the constant change associated with non-profit environments.

    Cons

It is a large agency and, inevitably, some individuals will have had negative experiences. I have no doubt that there are some under-staffed programs or over-worked clinicians. I also know that they care and work incredibly hard every day to provide the most they can to those they serve, so I try to view those situations in context.

    Advice to Management

The rapid growth makes the current focus on quality improvement even more important.

I have been working at HealthRIGHT 360 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Improving the lives of marginalized underinsured homeless populations dealing with substance use and mental disorders, and providing primary care services. Working with post incarceration clients assisting with navigation of re-entry services.

    Cons

Dynamic funding streams which affect salaries and determine capacity and resources. Proficiency/efficiency expectations associated with increased productivity and performance management equates to higher work loads with less emphasis placed on employee satisfaction.

    Advice to Management

Employee feedback surveys are a good, however the ability to give performance reviews to supervisors without reprisals would help make the process of supervision and employee performance more transparent and responsive.

I have been working at HealthRIGHT 360 part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you are passionate about the mission and have the drive and desire, there is support and encouragement to grow. Most IT staff have been with the organization for several years. There is good camaraderie and little drama. I am in a different role now, but I was proud to identify as part of the IT Dept, as it is respected and influential within the organization. Although the IT Dept. does not work directly with clients in the same way counselors do, it was satisfying to see how technology, reports, and data can impact services, funding, best practices, and people's lives.

    Cons

If you are looking for a situation where you can coast, tune out, or expect a corporate IT salary, it is not a good fit.
