    Pros

Great growth opportunity and awesome staff to work with. Company is diversifying in lots of different areas. Great leadership team. Company invests in employees and has high integrity. I feel cared about.

    Cons

Client growth comes in waves. Wish it could level out. Multiple systems to learn and work and at times is a lot to juggle.

    Advice to Management

OPC leadership team is great at all levels. Love my supervisor.

I have been working at Healthcare Resource Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Employees are treated like people- adult people capable of doing their jobs. Lots of fun and morale is very high! Great benefits, flextime scheduling.

    Cons

Wages could be higher for the work done

    Advice to Management

Invest more in employee salaries and less in image and flash.

    Pros

Great culture and "employee owned". The feel there is one of "family". Corporate "cares" about it's people. Fabulous benefits available. Competitive pay.

    Cons

The upper management is very REACTIVE. They are not prepared for slight downturns and are not forward seeing for upturns. Got into the proverbial "overly zealous hiring" and then had to suffer the "major lay off" woes.

    Pros

Good mix of fun and rewarding work. If you give the effort you are rewarded. Training and growth is the culture. If you don't pull your weight you usually don't make it here. Free loaders don't stay very long and those poor performers go to local hospitals where you can get away with it.

    Cons

Good benefits except family coverage is expensive

    Advice to Management

Keep it up and don't get soft on the people who take advantage of employers. Improve family benefits

New leadership changes makes the OPC a fun place to work. Lots of growth opportunities and flexible schedule

    Cons

Growing fast and sometimes need to bring on lots of staff at the same time

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the new focus

I worked at Healthcare Resource Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Schedule was somewhat flexible and the nature of the business meant that you could potentially be moved to different projects regularly, allowing for professional development opportunities. The company invested a lot of time and money into teambuilding exercises and committees such as health and wellness.

    Cons

Inappropriate jokes and all around unprofessional behavior was common throughout management. Favortism determined annual raises and promotions more than actual performance in most departments. High turnover rate. Very political work environment.

    Advice to Management

Reconsider the performance of management at every level and look at the patterns. Those departments with high turnover and rumors of leadership playing favorites are telling you something.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Healthcare Resource Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Leadership is caring about the employees. They work hard to provide a great work culture.

New CEO has created a better environment than previous owner/CEO

    Cons

In their caring they let deadbeats stay on too long. Unfortunately their are humans that take advantage of great employers and can suck the energy out from a company.

    Advice to Management

Be quicker to can those who don't follow the rules

    Pros

Wonderful company to grow with in your career. Many in leadership were promoted into their position out of production or line level roles. I have had a great experience since joining HRG moving into new roles and growing with the company. I am very happy here because of the new challenges as I've progressed, as well as working for talented/hard-working leaders, and the retirement plan is awesome!! I can see myself here for many, many more years to come!

    Cons

HRG is a place where being flexible and adapting to change are needed. So, if you have trouble with this and like your work to be completely predictable and void of change, then it may not be the place for you.
