I worked at Healthcare Services Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great management and culture of continuous quality improvement. I had multiple raises within first year, for taking on more responsibilities. Everyone in the district were top-notch individuals.

    Cons

On management level, it is hard work. You have to be on top of your game when it comes to your people and communication skills, to coordinate, line employees, clients, and company management, to achieve set goals.

I have been working at Healthcare Services Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunities for growth. Extensive management experience: Hire, discipline, terminate, train, quality control, team work with other departments, organize files, order supplies, manage supplies, do payroll.

    Cons

A lot is expected with no incentives. Your incentive is if it's not done now there will be even more work later. You can easily burnout.

    Advice to Management

Hire hire hire hire. Your day's will be long, but even longer if you're not staffing.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Healthcare Services Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Have ownership of your accounts. Able to build a team under you. Able to interview and hire the managers that report to you.

    Cons

Too many call ins. Dont pay our managers and front line staff enough. Constant churning of employees at the building level especially at the Account Manager position. We place a lot of pressure on Account Managers to cover housekeeping and laundry shifts

    Advice to Management

Bid work at facilities at a higher rate. Drop bad clients. Pay front line staff and managers more.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

This program gives the candidate the opportunity to learn the standard operating process of Health Care Services Group.

    Cons

Training managers are more experienced at cleaning then the administrative side of management which negates the process for individuals with prior management experience.

    Advice to Management

Hire more experienced managers and lessen the training time for those who already have management experience. Experienced managers have already been trained in cleaning process so using them as line level staff is a disservice to the manager in training as well as the company and is not financially feasible. Training managers should be held accountable for setting appropriate staff and staffing levels on a daily, monthly and annual basis.
