    Pros

Smart, dedicated team of people led by strong executives. Formally establishing a PMO in recent years greatly improved the implementation experience for both Healthland project teams and clients. The Centriq product has improved significantly since it's 2011 launch.

    Cons

While the culture has become more progressive in recent years, employees embracing change is slower than typical for a healthcare IT company. For better operational efficiency, collaboration between departments needs to improve. Unfortunately, the company was acquired in late 2015 , which has jeopardized the Centriq product's future.

    Advice to Management

Continue to improve the implementation process, development of the PMO and interdepartmental collaboration. Fight for continuing the implementation of Centriq!

I have been working at Healthland full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company with great teams. Direct manager is awesome to work for and does what he can for his team. Great pay and the family atmosphere is like no other company I have worked for. Hopefully not much of this will change.

    Cons

Still waiting to see how the merger will play out. It appears as I'd things are sorting themselves out. Sales are trickling in so those who have been homebound are anxious to get on the road.

    Advice to Management

With the merger, employees are uncertain even with positive reinforcement. Do what you can to retain the quality employees left.

I have been working at Healthland full-time

    Pros

Was a great place to work, manage let you do your job without micro managing. Great work life balance.

    Cons

Purchased by CPSI and it's not the same. We're out and they keep their jobs. Too bad! Management keeps people they like best!
