    There are absolutely no pros.

    Cons

    Everything is about making money. They have no respect for their employees at all.

    I have been working at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people...really committed!
    My experience is put to good use and I feel valued by my manager and the teams I work with across the Trust.
    Lots work led by senior leadership being done on staff engagement..feel I'm listened to and they are acting.
    Big trust - lots going on and lots of opportunity to get involved.

    Cons

    Internal communication still needs developing, but can see that is been worked on.
    Salary is not as high as private sector, but great benefits and work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

    Keep focusing on staff engagement and internal communications.

    Pros

    Lovely staff at ward level , rewarding work, great work done
    Pay pretty standard
    good pension at the moment

    Cons

    Bully management forcing staff to rotate to different hospitals breaking up tried and tested teams that live local to each hospital , competitive interviewing staff for their own jobs, lack of opportunity for promotion. Aggressive managers

    Listen to your staff

    You get the satisfaction of helping others.

    Cons

    The NHS looks after patients but has an aggressive attitude towards employees, I'd call it institutional bullying

    Advice to Management

    Learn to respect your staff. If you're having a restructure staff deserve the option of redundancy or accepting another job purely so that they can be bullied out!
