Anyone else hate banking lingo and make fun of it, but as soon as a discussion starts you say "we dont want to boil the ocean here". Fml. Whats your most despised finance phrase?

      Pros

Great job, great work-life balance, culture is positive, interdepartmental communication is great. I recommend. Resolutions can be an open discussion as there are alternative correction routes.

      Cons

Specific points of the year are stressful, maintenance of other payroll information can make some clients on edge. Can feel like a number rather than person many times throughout the work day or week.

      Pros

Awesome culture and fun environment. Work life balance can be ideal. Great benefit options and ESP program.

      Cons

100% commission can be rough early on. Must be driven and motivated to make this job work.

Don't Be Fooled By The Negative Reviews...

Jun 9, 2019 - Territory Sales Manager - Payroll in Scottsdale, AZ

      CEO Approval

      Pros

Top producers get rewarded here. If you sell, it is hard to beat the comp plan. Bonuses paid out within a week of the sale, monthly residuals paid out for life of the client, and those monthly residuals get vested and turn into 30X their face value. Work-life balance is completely controlled by you. You set your own schedule and can hit your targets in as little time as you decide, no office you have to "log" into every day. Heartland provides a foundation to sell but you can do whatever you want to obtain the sale and grow your book of business. (*as long as it's legal)

      Cons

No expense account until you become a TM (Territory Manager). Not a good role if you do not know how to prospect for business.

Hands down the best company I’ve ever worked for. Anyone who is a top 25% rep at their company, you will make 2-20 X.

Jun 9, 2019 - Payroll Sales Consultant in Scottsdale, AZ

      Pros

Paid the week sale is made. Residual income on all sales for life. Equity owner on accounts that can be sold. Work life balance. Make your own schedule, no micro managing. Customer satisfaction from service is amazing. They back up what they sell.

      Cons

If you need to be pushed daily, no one is going to push you. If you need a normal work schedule to keep organized, you won’t make it. This job is only for a true hunter or true networking relationship builder.
