The work is challenging and interesting which makes for a constant learning environment. I love that there is a high representation of women in leadership positions.

I have been working at Hearts & Science full-time

    Pros

Nice People, Great Culture, Lots of off time, summer fridays, free snacks and soda, learn a ton!

    Cons

Getting promoted is so hard, they don't do an annual bonus, and they dont give out raises. A lot of the time you are stuck in the same position with no movement. Pay is okay.

I have been working at Hearts & Science full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1. Great people to work with 2. Ability to be very hands-on and help lead agency evolution 3. Solid digital practice and expertise

    Cons

    1. There is an utter lack of transparency from leadership 2. Employee satisfaction is sacrificed for profit (more so than at other agencies) 3. The organization is very top-heavy with a lot of high salaries in upper management who do not contribute much to agency success 4. Very limited upward mobility mainly due to favoritism 5. Inability to retain top talent due to the bottom-line 6. High price for clients doesn't translate to employee compensation. Raises & promotions are seldom given without a fight 7. Agency positioning & principles are constantly changing and poorly communicated to employees

I worked at Hearts & Science full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great if you want to give your entire life and existence away to a toxic good old boy/bro culture that doesn't pay you nearly enough and dream of becoming an alcoholic young

    Cons

I wish there were some. IT was very helpful but the quality of equipment they get is absolute trash

I have been working at Hearts & Science full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Coworkers are insanely friendly. - Culture on office level is fantastic. - Opportunity to learn is there if you put the effort in. - Managers genuinely want you to succeed.

    Cons

    - Not enough incentive to grow long term - Executive leadership (I.e. Hearts leadership, not individual client leadership) is subpar and doesn't have any real solutions to Hearts issues, constantly refer to parent company policy for any company solutions.

    I worked at Hearts & Science full-time

    Pros

Full summer fridays. That’s about it.

    Cons

Terrible benefits, no bonuses or promotions or salary increase to match inflation. Cheap company not willing to spend on the well-being and could never afford an adequate spaced office even before COVID. Recently cut half of our Warner Bro’s team due to COVID in the most irrational way with no regard or heads up.
