I worked at Hebrew SeniorLife full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a mid-sized rehabilitation agency that also has a research department. If you want to learn more about patient care and research concerning older patients, this place is a great resource. Many of the staff I interacted with are very caring and supportive. Work-life balance is good.

    Cons

Human Resources team is notorious for losing documents and sending offer letters with incorrect or missing information. Management is very disorganized -- especially when it comes to having staff & management follow proposed rules consistently. Organization is not as transparent as they should be. Research funding is inadequate for many of the important studies. Pay scale is definitely on the lower end of the scale across the board.

    Advice to Management

Be consistently transparent. Really pay attention to what the employees in all departments need to survive and excel.

    Pros

Only Pros are SOME of my coworkers. Ive grown to love them as family

    Cons

It is absolutely horrible. These people do not value your time or your service cause the pay is lower than every other rehab center probably across the country. Workers are overworked and they dont care at all

    Advice to Management

Act like you at least care about your kitchen workers and what they go through.
