      Pros

The company puts the employees first and is willing to do a lot to make the employees happy.

      Cons

I have been working at Hein & Associates full-time

        Pros

Great team, from top to bottom. Very unique culture for an accounting firm. Takes work hard, play hard to a new meaning.

        Cons

Work life balance is only so achievable as a staff-senior auditor.

        Advice to Management

Move towards the new generations needs. Allow for more remote opportunity.

        I worked at Hein & Associates full-time

        Pros

Complex tax returns Repetition and ability to grow technical skills Access to CPE internally/externally Remote working capability Free food during Feb-Apr, Lunch/Snacks/Breakfast - but its never enough, many people felt left out if they were on a phone call or not able to rush over to the kitchen

        Cons

Computer issues, some of the software is not the most efficient in the industry, the tax software does not handle the firms needs well, partners seem to not want to adjust this Bully culture towards staff, constant discussion of employees when they are not around High turnover, you can expect to see numerous emails of who has quit Admin has issues with the office manager, and they seem unhappy/mention it quite often...

        Advice to Management

Try to get away from the traditional public accounting mentality, and focus on retention of employees, mentoring and guiding employees.
