"Could be a great place to work, but never looked or approached current employees for open positions."

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Heinens full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great family owned, values company...

    Cons

Hired too many Dominicks employees for new locations. Which turned into who knew who for positions opened and favoritism. To many promises made to most.... lots of experienced employees not utilized properly... bad choices on some upper management.

    Advice to Management

Owners are aware of what is going on and I believe they are trying to rectify some of the situations...

I worked at Heinens full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good solid work, lots of hours.Consistent time in, time out. Pay is comparable to updated wages. Benefits are good.

    Cons

Management plays favorites, watches people goof-off, goof-up and slack-off. Then jumps on the hardest workers doing everything required of them. Telling them their work isn't good enough, not following directions.and believing the lies of jealous workers say. Particular when you have more time than 99 percent of the people there.

    Advice to Management

.Get off your high horses and listen to your seniors, not your cry babies.
