Great leadership team that is focused on partnering consultants with the right clients. Proactive approach to coaching and development. Solid experience for a HR professional to be able to hone their skills and feel empowered to succeed.

Goal-oriented leadership, great work-life balance, open door policy, strong benefits package, challenging yet rewarding work, collaborative environment, woman owned, personable & accessible CEO, company paid training are a few pros from a list of many. Helios advocates for their employees, this culture really promotes a healthy culture. The following quote summarizes the daily feeling I have being an Helios team member: "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life"

Cons

The really aren't any cons that I have experienced; there is one things that happens rarely and just simply a frustration, which isn't reflection of Helios; there are times when some clients can be a challenge.

Pros

I've been around the block- various industries, various company sizes, and Helios HR is the first company in my career that doesn't have me questioning my decision on why I joined the company. I am beyond blessed to have this opportunity to work with such intelligent, kind, and hardworking HR professionals.

Excellent leadership. I've worked with various managers and leads while at HeliosHR and all of them have been fantastic. Everyone is a professional and extremely competent at what they do. There is encouragement to develop yourself both professionally and personally. Helios gives back a good deal to it's employees through events and more.

Cons

Helios works with a variety of clients, some more challenging than others. As a consultancy that is to be expected and no fault of Helios. Hence why challenging clients seeks their help.

Everyone is busy partnering with clients that it can be hard to build internal relationships unless you are on the same project.

I loved working with everyone there. I was really able to grow my knowledge and expertise under the tutelage of experienced HR practitioners.

Salaries were not as competitive to big consulting firms.

Helios has an accessible, transparent and caring leadership team who are not only committed to the success of the company, but it's clients, the community, and each individual team member as well. And it's not all talk. Even during your toughest moments, the Helios team has your back and gives you the support needed to tackle problems, both professional and personal. While in your best moments, they are happy to celebrate along with you.

Cons

Being an HR Consultant can be a rough gig with an erratic schedule... but that's just the nature of the work. I've got nothing negative to say about working for Helios in particular.
