I have been working at HellermannTyton US full-time

    Pros

Great opportunities to work with cross functional teams and advancement. Nearly all employees are "team players" that come together to resolve any issues.

    Cons

    Learning to be more proactive.

    Pros

    Lots of potential, growing opportunities

    Cons

You're on your own and expected to learn everything by yourself. Management expects you to work 50+ hours and always be available even on the weekends. If you have a company phone/laptop you're supposed to keep it on at all times and always answer because there is no way a line down situation can happen. It's do or die. Management wants you to burn out but yet they tell you they care. Employees don't talk to each other much and there is no relationship building. Very dry office environment.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and train them better. Learn that happy employees have a balance between work and personal life.

    Pros

    Great Benefits and great pay

    Cons

Management sucks, they push and push until you can not take it anymore they do not listen nor do they care they want you to meet unreal goals, they have a high turn over, everyone is quitting, they will write you up for everything and put you on 3 days suspension they will not tell you everything in the interview process, and what ever you do do not get sick.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your staff, and listen to them stop putting so much pressure on them

I have been working at HellermannTyton US full-time

    Pros

Good Work / life balance, good compensation, good insurance, friendly, caring people and managers. Managers/supervisors care about aligning your passion and skills with the company's needs.

    Cons

Limited real opportunity except for management positions. Slight disconnect between executive staff and lower levels with regards to policy and procedures. Some aspects of the company feel like they're stuck in the past.

I worked at HellermannTyton US full-time

    Pros

Sales focused company, quality products, good marketing support with website, product samples and literature. Strong in engineering and new product development. Forecasting was conservative.

    Cons

Some products at the time were sourced form sister or other companies and due to that in some cases these products were priced out of the market making it challenging to sell and maintain business outside of the core manufacturing competencies.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the Sales and Marketing focus and back up the Sales team with product available to ship without backorders.

    Pros

Company is expanding rapidly. Treat employees to lunches, gifts and bonuses. The higher up you are the better theperks

    Cons

Growing too rapidly, things falling through cracks. Management seems to have lost sight of overall picture and is too focused on production to pay attention to quality.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example....executive management need to come out of thier offices and interact more with regular employees
