    Pros

    Ethical. Sticks to investment philosophy. Above the bar in terms of compliance. Good leadership. Staff given responsibility - and expected to perform and have a point of view you can defend. Excellent pay and benefits.

    Cons

    Long hours and travel - very demanding environment.

    Pros

    Hellman and Friedman used a Ponzi scheme, which lures investors in by guaranteeing unusually high returns.

    Cons

    Horrible company. Should be investigated by american authorities.

    Advice to Management

    Terrible managment i have ever seen

    Pros

    Intelligent and efficient colleagues, great compensation and benefits, generous performance-based bonus and 401k contributions

    Cons

    Very professional atmosphere without a lot of camaraderie amongst staff, clear social and professional divide between the more valued investment staff and the administrative staff.

    Advice to Management

    Incorporate more community building and encourage socialization at the office and outside to improve employee satisfaction.

    It's intense, intellectual standards are extremely high, so required commitment is similarly high.
