I worked at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics full-time

    Pros

Global company with plentiful industry exposure and history. Good benefits.

    Cons

Average compensation. No annual percentage pay increases. Difficult to get a raise period. Not much room for growth within departments. Definitely need to work on management morale and proper management training and HR follow-thru on corresponding situations.

    Pros

Co workers, an customers. But if you are not higher management. forget being heard. and if you are not in good with higher management forget going anywhere with this company. Good health benefits tho.

    Cons

No raise in the three years here. no composition of any kind or thank you's for going above and beyond anything. put people in management with no experience or supervisors that can not lead.

    Advice to Management

take care of your people. if you can not pay the vendors on time because of cash flow issues. It does not sit well with the employee. an leaves them nervous looking for other opportunity.

I worked at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A few people were very nice, most though, were very "gossip-y" and made it hard to do your work. Ironically, the ones who were distracting with non-work related issues were female management. I was quite surprised.

    Cons

Too many chiefs, not enough indians. (More management than necessary for the amount of people working..

    Pros

If you have experiences in import/export or warehousing operations, you should be able to find a good home with Hellmann.

    Cons

The company is going through massive reductions and reorganization in the US. Right now there is no need for a traditional logistics analyst at the company unless you are willing to use what operations experience you have for a foot in the door.

    Advice to Management

If you abandon the CLC (pick-and-pack value add services) vertical, you will likely experience collateral damage through lost sales in actual transportation.
