Working here is fantastic

Pros

This is a financially stable startup company which is somewhat of a rarity these days. I've been working here a while, and what sets this company apart from others I've been at is the people. This is not a large corporation. This is not a tiny startup with a dream and dollar. This is a viable product concept coupled with talented people putting it together. We have creative freedom, there is no micromanagement, and we embrace 21st century work culture ideas such as working remotely. The executives here truly care about what makes us happy, and I plan on going nowhere.

Cons

Most people will work remotely (at least from time to time), and that requires good communication skills to stay on the same page. Personally, that has never been an issue.

Pros

You're getting to work with great tools to design and build an outstanding platform. Other members of the team are on the top of their games but don't have any sort of superiority complex

Cons

Current office is a bit far from the airport and downtown for the remote folks who come into town

It's pretty hard to be unhappy here.

Pros

You get to work with *really* smart people at the top of their game, on really fun projects. There's always snacks / beverages of your choice, catered lunch, and a work / life balance that can't be beat.

Cons

The office location is kind of a pain to get to if you don't live on the north side of Austin, but I mean ... it beats driving through downtown rush hour traffic every day by a landslide.
