I have been working at Henkel full-time

    Pros

There is a lot of training here to support you in all aspects, and it helps you to win more in the market.

    Cons

The incentive plan for salespeople should be more falexible, to fully motivate them with a driving passion throughout all the market situations.

    Advice to Management

It'll be good for management team to focus more it's people and less on the short term return or stock price. It's that people take good care of customer, customer take good care of company, and company take good care of its people.

I have been working at Henkel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nicest Coworkers I have ever met. You get to wear jeans every day. You start with two weeks of vacation and five sick days, but you get to buy a third week. Great benefits!

    Cons

Over worked/ understaffed. You do the job of three people. You can not take any unpaid time off so if you use all of your sick days/vacay days you are screwed. Customer service is treated like the dirt on the bottom of Henkel's boot. Every other department tries to lay blame on CS.

    Advice to Management

Let us work from home a couple days a month like the rest of the company. We would rather work from home then wear jeans every day.

I have been working at Henkel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible, good and helpful co-workers, and enjoyable work while business is still good. You can move around in different functions/locations if you are capable.

    Cons

Culture, Too many power points, lots of meetings and decision making is slow. Lots of paperwork than actual real work done.

    Advice to Management

Too many restrictions on getting things done. Lots of people wants to prevent you from getting your work done. Culture has to change to get things done (which is not likely). Upper mgmt. has to understand what is actually happening on the ground than pushing for power point presentations.

    Pros

It's an exciting time to be with Henkel as we continue to integrate into a brand new facility in Stamford, Connecticut.

    Cons

There is lots of work right now and long hours. But that is normal during an integration.

I have been working at Henkel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Most of the people working here are great
    - Not super strict on start time and end time for salaried employees
    - Have the opportunity to buy one week of vacation or sell one week of vacation

    Cons

    - Unorganized new employee onboarding process
    - A few people within the organization are lazy but nobody can seem to get rid of them
    - Management preaches "transparency" but they constantly hide information from their team and only share some info with people that are their favorite.
    - Corporate management doesn't have a good understanding on how to run a business within the aerospace industry.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people and don't keep secrets. Maybe that will decrease the high turnover.
