    Pros

Independent work style with variable pace which was nice. Sometimes very busy but then times to catch up. Great caring co-workers and supervisor . Very very little turnover

    Cons

There wasn't much room for advancement in my department . Downtown so parking was expensive and not very close. But overall worth it.

    Advice to Management

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Hennepin County, Minnesota full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I found the location was great, working downtown offered a chance to get out and do different things on my break.
I enjoyed the different amount of staff and the different people you work with.
The pace of the office was always busy and yet support was just a call away.
The county has done a good job with technology and access card issues.

    Cons

I found that it was unwise to leave or arrive during peak hours because the stop and go to get in and get out of downtown can be hectic if your not mentally ready to deal with it.

    Advice to Management

none, i found my supervisor very supportive and hands off and in most cases everyone is really to busy to micro manage. I appreciated the trust they had in me to get my work done and liked how they acknowledged there staffs efforts in a timely manner.
