    Pros

Good health dental and optical benefit

One Supervisor over multiple departments. Lack of professionalism, favoritism by supervisors. Human Resource and upper management do not correct the problem. This causes high employee turnover. Supervisors hold there position because of profitable and lack in management skill.

    Advice to Management

Correct the problem by reviewing and check supervisor skills to lead more carefully.

    Pros

    Smart, excellent team. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

Significant variation of skills/experience amongst people in the same position/level - individuals are not equitably paid or promoted based on experience.

    Non-competitive pay. Paying Detroit-city taxes.

Inconsistent policies determined by directors - Not allowing work from home in some departments, while other departments under same VP have multiple work from home days.

    Terrible PTO for new hires.

Organization is almost exclusively focused on the Medical Group with lack of shared resources devoted toward the hospitals.

I have been working at Henry Ford Health System full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good coworkers, managers, and physicians.

    Cons

CTO is accrued hourly at different rates according to longevity with the health system. Lowest level is approximately 6 hrs for 72 hours worked. The problem is that if you work overtime, you stop accruing CTO at 40 hrs per week. So working overtime does not benefit you as far as increasing CTO. You also don't make overtime pay until after 40 hours/week. So the first four hours of your "overtime shift" are actually straight pay.
