    I have been working at Henry Schein full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Henry Schein has a great name in dentistry so as a sales rep you already have some credibility. With a big company comes lots of resources to help you be as successful as possible. Lots of freedom to run your territory and your schedule the way that you want. This freedom, however, isn't always great for everyone. Must be VERY self motivated. Very strong career development program at Henry Schein.

    Cons

    Big company comes with a lot of corporate initiatives and run around. The right hand doesn't seem to always know what the left hand is doing and as a sales rep you are stuck as the face to the problem.

    Good life and work balance

    Cons

    Managers have no experience in management, territories are soft so you have to fight over accounts with other reps either outside or tele. Management does not follow through with plans, throw you out to the wolves when you are hired. Poor training program. Your voice is not heard.

    Advice to Management

    Hire managers that know the products their reps are selling, managers should know how to manage their team and be supportive, as well as know the sales process and key decision makers that reps should turn to in certain situations.
