    Pros

There aren't many pros. You have a lot of responsibilities and that can be rewarding when your job is done and you look back at it.

    Cons

The hours are always long. A 60 hour work week is a minimum and salaried employees do not get overtime. Weekend work constantly. Lots of propaganda saying "just wait and your time will come". Even higher positions work 24/7. Just a bad company dynamic and expectation.

    Advice to Management

Create a better quality of life. Offer overtime.

    Pros

Great culture. Good pay and even better benefits. If you work hard, can multi-task, and have the ability to communicate your needs then you will go far...

    Cons

Make sure our young engineers are not getting fixated on only one scope of work. Diversify their experiences...

    Pros

There is always something new to learn and the spectrum of projects is endless. The employees are very knowledgeable and always willing to teach new employees.

    Cons

Typically there are Long hours and a lot of paperwork to document procedures set in place by the corporate office. Other than that everything is more than ideal.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Makes it easy to keep long term employment in mind.

I have been working at Hensel Phelps full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits. Competitive salary. Easy to get engaged in. Complexity of the scope of work we do. Easy to find the right experience to answer a question or give an example

    Cons

Typical cons would be long hours and the never stop working attitude but I believe you need to prove yourself to this company and if you can't handle this you will be passed by the ones who can and will not be rewarded as such.

    Advice to Management

Training process is more "trial by fire". There are a lot of resources available that a new hire would not know to find that should be made clear about during the starting period

Training programs that can be customized to the needs of each individual. Will make you a true "builder"
Incredible employee benefits, they take care of their people.
    Diverse project types.

    Cons

Some long hours at critical times in the projects.
Moving, if you don't see it as an opportunity to experience different places.

    Advice to Management

Keep taking care of your people!

I have been working at Hensel Phelps full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great company overall
    Good career structure
    Great recruits
    Very competitive
Knowledge base increase on a daily
    Helpful staff upon hire
    Challenging projects

    Cons

I do not see cons worth sharing.
If any of the cons are going to be looks at by the ones who fail to compete and challenge themselves, then they are not really cons worth being considered. I believe that I cannot think of cons about this company

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.
