Essentially all of my coworkers were super friendly and I absolutely enjoyed the working environment. Plus the company also has a pretty good cafeteria and provides free health shakes.

Promotes “we’re a family” environment while laying off employees without giving feedback as to how certain employees were selected over others. Did not seem performance based IMO. Management fails to provide communication. HR provides inaccurate information during severance package review and states you cannot collect unemployment until after you have exhausted your severance payout which is completely untrue. No room for growth there as well.

No potential for career growth. Employees remain in one job position for 10+ years. Horrible management Old school systems and processes. They are so afraid any new technology or systems.

Everyone was very nice and worked cohesively as a team the majority of the time. This was not a high stress environment to work in at all. If anything, some of the work may be a longterm project to work on and could get boring, but you have full autonomy of what you do. The company truly does value healthy lifestyle habits and wellness as many of the employees would use the gym and trainers after work or at lunch to get a workout in. Also, they like to have step challenges within each department to see how many steps each team member gets at the end of the week. The offered pay as an intern in 2017 was about $18/hour; however, I was not aware of negotiating salary and most of my co workers were actually getting $19 or $20 as an intern. If I had to go back to working corporate, this is honestly hands down the first company I would go back to due to the nature of how chill and relaxed the work environment was in my department. Additionally, I am not exactly sure what the salary would be when you are hired; however, I think they do offer competitive compensation considering there was a dietician in my department who truly had no interest in advocating for nutritional supplements, but chose to stay because the pay was so good.

Cons

The only con I saw from this job was the redundancy/working on the same project at a desk the whole time and how quiet my specific department could be. Everyone in my department was very pleasant and would be open to talk if you came up to them, but overall it almost sounded like nobody was in their cubicles unless you heard someone walk over to the bathroom or to the sink to prepare a drink. All the employees for the most part did have relationships with their coworkers though which I found to be a plus.
