I have been working at Herbalife full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Occasional work from home.
    SOME really great people.

    Cons

Mngmt only concerned with how it makes them look & who can/will "take one" for them so they can look good.

    Advice to Management

Take your finger out of your nose. Get up off your knees & treat employees like talent. No one likes the sound of your voice like you do. Be responsible and quit laying blame on others.
Enough with the nonsensical busy work (MBO's=JOKE)!!!

I have been working at Herbalife as an intern

    Pros

There are SOME nice coworkers but only if they are temps as well.

    Cons

If you are a temp forget being anything more than dirt on the bottom of a shoe. I work second shift and its like babysitting. If you are full time, young, and or Hispanic you will be treated good. I am a VERY equal individual and treat any and all others equally but they do not! My supervisor walks past me like I am invisible to go straight to others (young kids) and laugh and joke with them. I was told BY MANAGEMENT they needed to hire fulltimes by the end of the year to reserve their contract with Onin. I have watched others who have started after or with me have their contract bought out AND they have an open door application where they have hired off the streets when there are good hard working temps in there that want to be full time!!! This is a very unfair company to work for! Very disappointed.

    Advice to Management

    Treat everyone equally!!!!!

I have been working at Herbalife full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice interactions with many good folks.

    Cons

Politics, silos, lack of stability and lack of support at the Mmgt level. Lot's of hopped up egos with the complete lack of teamwork.

    Advice to Management

Be honest about the stability issue. Management by fear does not work in 2017.

I worked at Herbalife full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

With my background in MLM, I will say Herbalife is backed with a lot of experienced employees, above average perks, and ample amount of funding for projects.

    Cons

    - Middle to Upper Management are so backwards. My VP didn't even know how to type. My Manager had double my experience but had no idea how to lead a team. This wasn't the case with all departments, but many are this exact case.

    - They treat salary and hourly employees the same. Expect calls at 9 PM or a text from a team member.

    - I was basically used as a scapegoat on so many projects. As mentioned before, management has no clue on what is going on. They are always trapped in 24/7 meetings.

    Advice to Management

Learned to work with your teams. Get off your high horse and realize it's about what's best for the company--not what's best for you. Transparency is also non-existent here. This company needs a major re-org.
