    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Herberger's part-time for more than a year

    Pros

I enjoyed getting to know some employees. My supervisor at the time was nice and engaging whenever she saw me. The full-time staff in my department was a nice woman who always spoke kindly and shared her life stories. Whenever she needed help, she would always tell me how to best help her.

    Cons

There was never enough to do. Management had a power struggle. One supervisor felt undermined by my presence when I wasn't sure what I did wrong. Bad quarterly evaluations. No room for any professional growth. There was a lot of favoritism.

I worked at Herberger's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

It was a pretty easy job, I didn't work behind the counter a lot so I was mostly out on the floor helping customers, which I enjoy.

    Cons

The coupons never made sense to customers and it was very difficult to explain why certain items or brands were excluded.

Former Employee - Shoes S in Roseville, MN

I worked at Herberger's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Sort of your "own boss", because we got commission, so if you worked harder selling shoes you got more money in your pocket which was nice, since we got 10% of the shoe sale.

    Cons

Making quota for selling credit cards for shoes is a bit harder because people would buy discount shoes and your boss would ask "did you get a card?"
