    Pros

Great structure with their agenda. Company policy and guidelines are perfect.

A few different departments are located within the entire store, so making it a little difficult to remember everything. I know when I start ill get the proper training and tips on everything to know within my job description.

    Advice to Management

    I worked at Herberger's full-time

    Pros

It was a job and that was about it. It wasn't a great place to work.

    Cons

Terrible management, forced to work additional unscheduled overtime due to lack of planning on managements part. Unsafe and when concerns were brought up managers either didn't care and we were told to "deal with it" or things were ignored.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and actually do something. Increase pay for reliable employees.

    I worked at Herberger's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked in the shoe department. If you were good at selling multiple pairs of shoes to customers you would earn good check. It was on commission. I enjoyed helping customers find and buy shoes that they didn't know about without me bringing it out for them.
I enjoyed the fast pace that went with this job.

    Cons

Mandatory holiday shifts- black Friday overnights. Didn't continually train on features and benefits of shoes or how to fit shoes properly for different foot issues. If business is really slow (January and summer), you don't earn nearly as big as a check as you do during the busy times (October-December).

    Advice to Management

Properly train associates on what makes a good shoe for certain feet.
