I have been working at Hershey Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Definitely have the benefit of working with some great coworkers. The company has a great moto to live by, and I really enjoy being able to support the Milton Hershey School. My work environment is clean and management is decent as long as you're content with where you are in your position. I definitely feel as if I have grown with this company and I would recommend it to others.

    Cons

management is more consumed and concerned about the product than their workers. little room to advance from my current position.

    Advice to Management

Try to focus on how your employees feel. If you wouldn't want to be pushed passed your mental capability, why would they want to?

    Pros

-Can keep Job even if in college
    -Easy to get time off
-Full time bosses are nice and understanding

    Cons

-If you're over 18 you get 15 min for break and even then you end up working during it.
-As a supervisor your job is stressful and difficult if you work at a busy location.
-A lot of the hard work that is done goes unappreciated.
-If you are over 18 and don't request off you are scheduled for 60-70 hours a week

    Advice to Management

-Make sure the programs we have to reward staff is being used
-Hire enough staff so that the older kids don't feel like they can't take a break because going 15 hours without eating because it was so busy is unacceptable
-Schedule a swing supervisor that can cover other supervisors breaks so they actually get a break even if they are over 18 because this is a real issue in staff happiness and is a main reason why once people turn 18 they leave.
