    Pros

Nice discount and the people you work with are great

    Cons

The customers you will encounter are somewhat difficult because they feel as though they're not getting their money's worth. Also, many guests get upset about certain company policies mostly check in/rooms available right at check in.

    Advice to Management

Be more accessible during high volume times.

    Pros

The always have the best in mind for not only the guests but, the employees as well

    Cons

Kind of hard to get hours if you are towards the bottom of the list. But it's understandable since it is a union position, they d try to get you more hours if you ask.

I have been working at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (More than 10 years)

    Pros

End up with the property and team and it's like a 2nd family

    Cons

Fun and camaraderie depend on the property you are at, some properties are not so good

    Advice to Management

Do not assume all full time Supervisors are treating their full time reports with respect, or growing them professionally. More often than not they have one face for their boss and upper management, and another face for their direct report(s).

    Pros

    decent pay
Depending on your supervisor, the job isn't that bad.

    Cons

Scheduling is a pain, the people taht work there donot care.
The job you are hired for is not the one you necessarily get.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of Kronos and hire more experienced scheduling people. In believe most are interns.

    Pros

-Paid lunch (on duty for security calls [rarely was I called])
-Loved working outside (best was at camp ground, I would come back to only work the camp ground)

    Cons

    -Standing long hours
    -Low pay
-Not sure who direct supervisor was

    Advice to Management

    1. Increase pay, not sure how anyone can live on that job. Most security jobs I know pay atleast $10 and hour.
    2. Create and identify chain of command (with people's direct supervisor name and contact info)

    Recommends

I worked at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being a games clerk was great. I worked in the arcade and the job was pretty simple. You hand out prizes, do some light cleaning, hand out change, and help guests. Great place to work for a first job. You also get a 50 cent raise each year you return.

    Cons

The pay is the bare minimum. If you want a high paying job, don't work here.
