    employees are lazy and don't want to work

    Advice to Management

    watch your employees close, because you have some who work whole heartily and some who doesn't. people will run off with the managers not around and this creates a issue with customer service. my main issue is the people I have to work with, and how they are lazy and don't truly care about the people, or the organization. I'm a work horse at my location because of it, and it's coming to a end. Also, the main issue is that you have to rely on others to do small things that they take hours to do. If I need to get a car brought to my location, the person who brings it will run off & come hours later, if I need a car clean, the take hours, if I need a oil change hold removed, they take hours. And you can ask the question, "why want you do it yourself" the issue is, If I'm with a customer, and the person who says there going to get the car while I'm setting up customer up to place them in the vehicle, runs off and does other things while the customer waits for a hour to do something that takes 5 mins, than it's out of my control. same thing with cleaning a car, everyone waits until the last minute to do it, and they wait for a customer to come into, just to do it when they should have had the vehicles clean before any customers arrived. the oil change issue, only branch managers can do it, any they take there sweet time doing that as well, while I have a customer waiting to get placed in the vehicle.

    Gaining managerial skills and customer service, learning to think on your feet in a fast pace environment

    Cons

    Always a threat pending job regarding sales, zero help in upper management, unorganized

    Advice to Management

    Please help become organized. Took me 3 wks to get direct deposit because no one could tell me who to contact, even upper management in OKC.

    Pros

    Fun environment. Can be a good place to work if boss and fellow employees are easy to get a long with.

    Cons

    Upper management has made some terrible decisions that can make the job extremely stressful and frustrating. Compensation and rewards does not match employee effort. Should be more of a focus on training than just sales numbers.

    Advice to Management

    Be more encouraging to top talent and offer the necessary tools to get promoted and to get higher compensation.

    Pros

    The company benefits are outstanding. Also, Management is young so as long as you work with a team that understands and values change, the ability to move up in the company is limitless.

    Cons

    Work life balance is next to impossible. Upper level management doesn't care about front line employees. Bonuses are never on time.

    Advice to Management

    Understand that change is necessary. Its always better to be proactive then reactive. Front line employees are the face of the company and manager should be valued more.

    You get to drive a company car

    Cons

    Always short staff and unrealistic demands to grow revenue based on the amount of cars you are given.

    Advice to Management

    Create a bonus system that is actually transparent and the employes know their goals prior to the period that the bonus is paying out.

    Pros

    Ability to advance fast within the manager training program. Ability to get monthly sales bonus up to 10% of your sales.

    Cons

    Upper management is shady. They only care about sales numbers rather than integrity. There were employees who were promoted even though they were creating taking advantage of customers by adding insurance on the rental contracts and altering the daily rate. Only sales focused not management development focused.
