They teach you a lot about managing locations and how to plan for days, weeks, months in advanced
They motivate through fear. If you miss a step in the sales process it could cost you a potential "upsale" which will then hurt you in your monthly commission goals. After a short amount of time, they will fire you for not meeting unrealistic goals. The customers also yell at you 9 out of 10 times which makes for a very unsettling working environment.
Advice to Management
Learn different ways to motivate your employees and give them help for when they are not meeting their goals rather than just firing them.
