    I worked at Hertz full-time

    Pros

Hertz has a solid upside as a company overall. There are also some Good employee discounts. You're on your feet and moving around with very little desk work.

    Cons

If you are a yes man this may be a job right up your alley, but if you are independent thinker do not waste your time. Unorganized Training, Too Many Managers with bad attitudes, Pay is too low, way too many hours. Vacation policy is a joke. Lots of Clicks very high school like environment.

    Advice to Management

You need to get out to your individual sites go undercover and see how they operate. Employees are treated worse than customers. Get the bad mid level managers out they are ruining the employee and customer experience. Pay better salaries and be honest about job duties along with work hours.

    Pros

Real potential for advancement, well-rounded experience, team oriented environment, and coworkers become “family.”

    Cons

Starting pay is really low and it takes a lot of work to hit your sales goal while the bonus schedule is confusing. Also, dressing up in professional attire and having to clean cars in them before going on sales calls is discouraging.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay for MTs as they do the most work, and have separate (non-managerial) staff cleaning cars.
