      Pros

      I met some good friends.

      Cons

God forbid someone in corporate doesn't like you, they will find a reason to fire you. Pay is terrible, no work/life balance and they don't even abide by their own policies of caring and integrity.

      Great family owed company

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Friendships established with colleagues. Flexibility to schedule personal appts and children’s school functions.

      Cons

There are no “hard” deadlines for students to be held accountable. As advisors, we are stressed to the max 2-3 weeks prior to each main semester start. Working 10-12 hrs a day is still not enough. We work off of multiple systems all day long. Chat, Velocify, Campus Nexus, Custom Show(Zoomifer), e-enroll for applications, TEAS test scheduling screen, Outlook for emails and have softphone pulled up! In addition, the systems do not “talk” to each other! If I am on a call, why should another call be able to come through the systems and rudely interrupt the current call. All advisors complain about this to each other!!! The re-entry process needs to reviewed and streamlined.

      Pros

Super secure job, not many tasks, easy work, lots of company wide appreciation, welcoming environment, experience in all of the departments

      Cons

Seemingly no room for growth, extremely boring, management is unorganized and never on the same page, always getting the handed down work that no one else wants to do
