I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Work from home or now it's USED TO work from home. Vacation time for years of service.

    Cons

Former EDS'r that was acquisition-ed by HP in 2009 then split to HPE and sold (they are calling it a spin/merge) to Computer Science Corporation yet naming the company DXC. Low Pay, no advancement, little to no training. You are only a number here, nothing more. This company has laid off so many highly skilled employees they are practically giving away their talent to their competitors and customers in the name of greed and short sighted goals. I'm so glad I'm getting out.

    Advice to Management

You keep bleeding your talent you won't have a company to manage, maybe that is the plan all along . Do the company a favor and fire yourself.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Work from home was nice

    Cons

Horrible management that is based in Texas - never see them face to face, no salary increases in 7 years and extremely small bonuses even when you took on a big project outside of your normal responsibilities. Stay away if you want to enjoy your career.

    Advice to Management

When you treat your employees like garbage the end product reflects it.

    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time

    Pros

I wish there was anything good to share, except managers promote sugar-talking and are all after their own benefits instead of the company's welfare.

    Cons

For work life balance, the balance is in favor of life. People are there to have fun and managers do not have any clue - nor care about managing people.

    Advice to Management

Act in favor of the company, not yours..
