I worked at Hikari Tsushin full-time

    Pros

I cant really think of anything except work life balance, since we dont get much work.

    Cons

This company not for IT engineers or any foriegner for a matter of fact. I feel bad for many of IT people/ foreigners who were told empty promise.

I think many IT people feel the same way about this company. Unfortunately I am more disappointed with my experience here, not much training and I dont think people stay long time.

    Advice to Management

    Stop hiring IT people/ foriegner.

Technically challenged management, Evaluation is done solely on the basis of Japanese Language Ability, Company not prepared at all to manage the sort of attitudes Indians come with.

I have been working at Hikari Tsushin full-time

    Pros

    Decent salary for a fresher.

    Cons

-Not much IT work in the company.
-Employees here themselves do not know how to code so you are also not expected to.
-Japanese employees sit for overtime even when no work and so are you expected to.
-Japanese is very important but even after performing very well in Japanese tests you will not be promoted until the bosses have a liking for you.

    Advice to Management

Please do not hire any other IT engineers. Since there is a serious management crisis especially in managing Indians please hire an MBA guy.

    Pros

You may contact the higher authorities directly. All your project proposals will be heard (but not necessarily get accepted).

    Cons

It's a sales company. Unless you can increase their sales your technical skill set won't be appreciated.

    Advice to Management

    Please hire some technical managers.
