    Pros

Work I feel passionate about and go home every day feeling like I played a part in making a difference in someone's life. A team that is committed to providing the best quality healthcare and personnel that treats each patient/ family member as if they are their own family.

    Cons

Every patient deserves to receive the highest level of care, treatment and compassion that HCM has set as their standard.

    Advice to Management

Never stop raising the standards for patient care.

I have been working at Hill Country full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The culture is uniquely wonderful - people who are there because they care about the health of the local community. Truly engaged employees and senior leaders who are committed to organizational values. Employees take care of their patients and each other. One of the top 100 hospitals in the US and one of the top 10 for patient experience, so it makes you feel proud to work there. Everyone tries really hard to do the right thing for patients and each other, and management incentivizes that.

    Cons

Funding challenges for rural hospitals affect cash flow and ability to buy nicer equipment and facilities as well as salaries to some degree. It is worth it to work at a place that you love though.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to employees and the community and do it even more.
