    Pros

    Lifelong friends. Challenging work.

HR will not listen. Turns a blind eye to complaints regarding management. General manager allowed to treat employees like dirt.

I worked at Hilton full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay (if they actually get your paycheck right), great opportunities to move around, great benefits

    Cons

Horrible bureaucratic management, horrible unionized staff that never work, poor training

    Advice to Management

Give your new hired managers a chance instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater when you get a "hunch." You're a great company, but your scores are lousy because you don't give managers enough breathing room to shine.

I have been working at Hilton full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

My ideas are valued. I am trusted by my superiors. I have a great Leadership Team. I have met the best Leaders in Hospitality at the Hilton Worldwide Properties I have had the privilege to work for. Hilton brings out the best in me. Hilton cares for their employees. There are great recognition programs in place. The Hilton Worldwide University is an awesome learning channel. There are great travel opportunities available for work and leisure on Go-Hilton.

    Cons

Like any big company, you need to create your own success. It is just easier with Hilton.

    Advice to Management

Team Recognition opportunities are great with Hilton Worldwide. Keep using them. They make a great impact on Team Members. This may range from a three word email "Well done ....." to a High Five from the Source.
