I have been working at Hilton full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love that we get to stay at Hilton Hotels for only $35/night if available.
I love that the schedule is flexible for you to set around what works for you.

    Cons

-Having to take calls back to back to back can get overwhelming and if you split up your time you feel that your working all day and night.
    - The hourly rate is not good, unless you are exceptional at selling the partnership calls and can get a great incentive for sending callers to HGV and EHI.
    -

    Advice to Management

Love for you to add extra paid breaks and increase the pay to match other reservations agents.

I have been working at Hilton part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work at home is amazingly flexible and allows you to roll away from your desk at the end of the day. I love that I never have to worry about what happened during my shift one day one the next day.
You make your own shift one and a half weeks prior and if changes are necessary you have the ability to trade with co-workers or request that the shift in part or entirely be removed.

    Cons

No one wants to work. It's complicated finding people who want your shift. You will be forced to build a schedule that includes at least one day r
each weekend during peak summer season, this means no travel unless your family can do it during the weekdays.

    Advice to Management

Higher base pay. Move good performers into higher paid positions quickly before you burn them out and lose them. Not too long info OJT. 9 weeks is too long

I have been working at Hilton full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been at one of Hilton's corporate offices for almost a year now and I love my job. My coworkers are friendly and passionate about their work and my managers are fair and understanding. There is a lot of flexibility in hours and we are able to work from home once a week. We are constantly thinking of new ways to improve, which keeps our work fresh and exciting. I receive nearly a month of paid vacation time per year and incredible discounts on hotels, which I am now using to travel and live the Hilton values.

    Cons

Entry level pay, however I am looking forward to growth within the company and the pay that will come with it.

    Advice to Management

Continue seeking feedback from employees about what directions they would like to see the company take. Continue promoting a work-life balance and keeping employee happiness as a top priority.
