I have been working at Hilton full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

My other co-workers are like my family everywhere I go whether on property or in corporate office. I love that I can move to various places and stay within the Hilton family. The team member travel is amazing as well. Really like my PTO accrual pace based on how long I've worked for the company. Lots of opportunity to grow within Hilton.

    Cons

No cons at this time. Love this company!

I have been working at Hilton full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been at one of Hilton's corporate offices for almost a year now and I love my job. My coworkers are friendly and passionate about their work and my managers are fair and understanding. There is a lot of flexibility in hours and we are able to work from home once a week. We are constantly thinking of new ways to improve, which keeps our work fresh and exciting. I receive nearly a month of paid vacation time per year and incredible discounts on hotels, which I am now using to travel and live the Hilton values.

    Cons

Entry level pay, however I am looking forward to growth within the company and the pay that will come with it.

    Advice to Management

Continue seeking feedback from employees about what directions they would like to see the company take. Continue promoting a work-life balance and keeping employee happiness as a top priority.

    Pros

Working for Hilton for 10 years, and what a ride. After being promoted 5 times, working at 5 different hotels, in 4 different states, I believe I can truly say Hilton is a wonderful company to work for. Compensation is fair and aggressive within the hospitality brand, benefits are industry leading and have even been highlighted in the news in 2016. Hilton is a fair employer, with a strong culture that rewards hard work and is committed to its teams. Come join us.

    Cons

We always wonder if the grass is greener on the other side (its normal). Every job has its ups and downs, and I believe Hilton has taken team member feedback well, and developed solutions to improve the quality of life for its team. I would like to see affordable child care assistance considered as a benefit for us, but am happy with the progress Hilton has made towards benefits so over the years. We are going in the "right" direction.

I worked at Hilton as a contractor

    Pros

A very inviting environment in their Addison office that encouraged questions and gave ample growth opportunities.

    Cons

The offices are a little compartmentalizing; I did not have any insight at all on what was going on throughout the company.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing and being friendly and proactive with employees, because it's definitely working for you!

Lots of room for growth, there is always a new position to apply for. The application process and interview process are digital and convenient.

Lots of job opportunities, so you have a lot of options to choose from. That was not even a con. I have only pros for working here. I love Hilton's values!

I have been working at Hilton full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I'm about 30 days into my new role. It's a team oriented culture with a sense of ownership. I feel like they provide the resources to accomplish the job. The role is challenging and satisfying to able able to help hotels achieve their revenue goals. Everyone seems to have a great sense of pride in the service they provide. There are some great people to learn from. I look forward to seeing what the future has in store.

    Cons

The salary is a bit on the low end compared to other market rates. The volume of information and the time allotted for training can be overwhelming but it's necessary.

    Advice to Management

Continue investing in your people and differentiating yourself in the marketplace.
