    I worked at Hilton full-time

    Pros

Great team environment and opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

If not working for a corporate owned or managed property, you will be subject to owners that may not invest in the property in a way that would help the guest and employee experience.

I worked at Hilton full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working with a fun team, Hotel traveling benefits, and always had a lot of PTO time

    Cons

Low pay for what a Manager actually does, worked over 50+ hours, work on weekend and holidays, and you never have a set schedule so it is easy to get burned out.

I worked at Hilton full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great team member travel program and met some great people working for this company.

    Cons

If you do your job well, you may get stuck with doing other people’s jobs unofficially. However, one gains a lot of valuable experience, if he or she is committed to their work.

Former Intern - Front Office Intern
    Recommends

    I worked at Hilton

    Pros

-Nice co-workers -Internship program lets you rotate through all the hotel departments during first 2 weeks -Gained lots of interpersonal skills & experienced many different situations at front desk

    Cons

-After 2 weeks rotation, it felt more like a job than an internship -Usually only 1 intern per property so a bit lonely -Expected to work at just "front office" after 2 weeks rotation; couldn't experience different departments further when asked
