    Pros

Spectacular new design, nice floor plan, rooms are exquisite, public areas just the right blend of contemporary style!

    Cons

Placement of the luxury suites face the parking lots concrete walls. FF&E in rooms a bit too modern and contemporary.

    Advice to Management

Work/Life Balance, trust your property leadership.

I have been working at Hilton Garden Inn part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

nice environment, professional setting, good food, tips on room service, nice guests overall

    Cons

even doing hostess work they pay serving wage,,,(2.13/hr) and there are MANY nights you might have 0-3 tables of 1 guest..it's hard to make any money outside of game season.

    Advice to Management

Pay people real wages...pretty sad to expect people to work making $10 a night.

I worked at Hilton Garden Inn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The front desk staff all loved each other. We were all friendly with one another and got a long. At the end of the day, we all did our jobs well, and that was because we all worked well together.

    Cons

Management wasn't the best. At the Calabasas location you ended up knowing more than management some how. On top of that, the management felt like a clique (is that the right word) in a way. If they didn't like you they made it known. They liked me so I never experienced it first hand, but coworkers would tell me.

    Advice to Management

Management is all new now. After I left ownership ended up clearing house.
